So, what’s all this about What’s Brewing?
Welcome to What’s Brewing?, a new show presented on LexMedia, Lexington community cablevision, and also YouTube. To see when our episodes are airing, and to watch our shows right now on-demand, visit the LexMedia website http://lexmedia.org, or see our list of YouTube episodes below.
What’s Brewing? is a multiple-episode approximately 30 minute program featuring experts and experienced people who discuss and demonstrate the brewing of coffee (right now) and other beverages (coming in future episodes). Anything related to something that is brewed, is fair game for our program!
We’ve started the What’s Brewing? series with a 4-part presentation/discussion by well-known local coffee expert George Howell (founder of the Coffee Connection) where he discusses with a group in the Lexington-based Ride Studio Café just how coffee is grown and distributed, what beans are best, roasting methods, and much more. In coming weeks we’ll give you a view into his roasting factory (this is in post-production as this is written).
We need help. Would you like to get involved?
· We are looking for people who have experience with coffee, tea, beer, wine, or other similar beverages that they would like to discuss or demonstrate for our audience. Want to have your “15 minutes of fame”? Let us know. We’ll work with you to come up with something exciting and make you “famous”! Your place or ours.
· We are looking for volunteers to help with program preparation, filming, post-production (we (other than LexMedia staff) are all unpaid but enthusiastic volunteers!).
If any of this sounds interesting to you, if you would like to explore how you can get involved, or if you have questions about anything we’ve said here or anything I’ve not said, please let us know! Best way is via email: click to email producers Steve and Evie
